Plastic, due to its non-biodegradable nature and complex composition, ranks among the most challenging materials to recycle.
PET-type plastic, made of polyethylene terephthalate and commonly found in beverage containers, undergoes various processing stages to eventually be transformed into new products.
Plastic, primarily from beverage containers, is compressed into three forms:
- BALES
- Grade A – Crushed – Sorted clean material
- Grade B – Material from a transit station
FLAKES
RPET – Processed flakes
LOGISTRADE acquires these three forms of compressed plastic and sends them to international recycling companies and manufacturers. These entities are specially authorized to handle plastic recycling overseas.
